Internship Opportunities and Internship Programs in China

With a country of over 5000 years of ancient history, China had no modern economy until Deng Xiaoping served as the leader for the People's Republic of China. Deng Xiaoping opened China to the global market, by liberalising China to foreign investments in the 1980's. China is now the fastest growing economy of the world, with many new foreign companies coming in every year. Since multinational companies nowadays are expanding their markets to China, as a result they are looking for employees who can speak Chinese, or had work experience in China.

Learning Mandarin in China, understanding the culture, socializing with the local Chinese is not enough for one to know how to do business in China. For those looking for China work experience, and to get your foot in the door, it is best to apply for an internship in China. This way you can gain some Chinese work experience in your related industry as well as learn Mandarin Chinese. There will be a lot of advantages to those who have done an internship in China. Currently, it is estimated that there are over 90,000 foreigners working in China now.
