About the restaurant:
The restaurant has a modernly simple and clean white look. One at Vivocity is a little small but one at Cairnhill is huge. The world seem to brighten up subtly when you're in there.
Ordered Food:
In my past two visits, I've had rendang daging sapi, sambal teri tempe, semur ayam kampong and es teler to name a few. Every dish has a taste of its own and the es teler dessert was my personal favourite.
My verdict:
How good or bad one's dining experience at Garuda all depends. Fortunately for me I've had delightful experiences at both branches - deliciously warm food and personalized service; my friends and I simply had to speak to the cheery manager. Hope they keep up the good work and that all staff treat all customers well, not to mention keeping the food standards up. : )
About the restaurant:
The environment is nice & looks classy though its abit squeazy
Ordered Food:
Fish Head, Tempe Goreng, Some vegetables, salted fish, Fried chicken & Chicken gravy
My verdict:
For the kind of pricing they charge, I am totally dissapointed with what I received at Garuda in Vivocity. Everything is cold. The fish head cost me about $20+ but it tasted stale and the dish is cold. One would expect that if you are paying $60 for Nasi padang, you will get it hot but instead whatever that was served were all stale & cold. I dont think I will come back to this place (Garuda Vivocity) for Nasi Padang. Sorry!
