The Food Serving an array of French cuisine, one will be spoilt for choice here at Gourmet Plus. Our first appetizer was Swiss Raclette ($14) which is essentially melted Raclette cheese served with air dried beef and accompanied by small baked potatoes. Though aesthetically, it failed to impress yet the taste was tantalizing and left us pleasantly surprised.
An ideal salad for the health conscious will be the Smoked Salmon Salad ($17) topped with capers, sliced onions and fresh drill. You get your fair share of omega oil and daily dose of vitamins required from the greens in the salad, sufficient to boost your immune system for the day. It gives a refreshing perk to a weary soul as the fresh ingredients used speak forth for themselves.
Those who are game for authentic French cuisine can attempt the Duck Leg Confit ($26). Maintaining its saltiness replicating the typical duck confit found in France , this is one meal the faint-hearted should avoid. The Lamb Shank ($24) will be a fulfilling dish for its meat was substantially suffices to serve as a main course.
End the whole course with the Bread & Butter Pudding ($9) which was served with crème Anglaise and remarkably done. The sweetness was not overbearing making it a delight to luxuriate with a cup of tea or cappuccino.
The Service Having a friendly service crew is not easy to come by and here at Gourmet Plus, diners will be pleased to note of such a service-oriented crew, making it a pleasure to wine and dine.
