Welcome to Streetdirectory.com Map History Guide. In this section, we bring you back to the time when our maps were first released to the public and show how they have evolved over the years. The maps can be broken into 3 different time zones:

»	1998 Maps
	These maps were made prior to the official release of streetdirectory.com. The site was then known as virtualmaps.
»	1999 Maps
	These maps was first released to the public in 1999. The original maps were blue-based and due to public feedback (many prefer green-based maps), the background colour was changed to green.
»	2000 onwards
	Since then, we have been updating the maps frequently and many different versions have evolved over the years. The latest maps, from 2005 onwards, were made from Satellite images.
